  4. Xarchie is an X11 browser interface to the  Archie  Internet
  5. information  system  using  the  Prospero virtual filesystem
  6. protocol.  Archie provides information about files available
  7. for  ftp  anywhere  on  the  Internet; Xarchie displays this
  8. information using an easy-to-use, point-and-click interface.
  9. Xarchie allows you to further explore ftp sites by examining
  10. directories returned as query matches,  and  allows  you  to
  11. retrieve  files located this way.  Xarchie is designed (like
  12. most X applications) to be highly customizable, allowing you
  13. to  tailor  the  look-and-feel  of  the  tool  to  your  own
  14. preferences.
